Here at Beverly Hills MD, we’re passionate about creating positive change in people’s lives all over the world.
That’s why we’ve partnered with Smile Train, an amazing charity that provides free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care throughout the developing world.
Smile Train helps children in need live the happy, healthy lives they deserve.
Amazingly, these cleft surgeries only take about 45 minutes — and can cost as little as $250! But in the developing world, even that small cost puts these necessary surgeries far out of reach for many.
When we learned about Smile Train’s efforts, we knew we had to help. That’s why we’ve gladly donated a portion of Beverly Hills MD proceeds to their cause…
And we’re proud to say we’ve already helped over 500 children around the world to receive their first smiles!
But make no mistake — there’s still more work to be done.
Did you know that in the developing world, 170,000 children are born with a cleft lip, cleft palate, or both every year?
Or that children with untreated clefts not only live in isolation, but also have physical difficulties with eating, breathing, and speaking?
But here’s the good news: July was National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness and Prevention Month — a time dedicated to promoting awareness and prevention of cleft and craniofacial conditions, providing support to those affected, and educating the public.
And now, even though July is over, we want to keep the amazing momentum going, and keep attention on this important issue year-round! That makes NOW a great time to help a child in need — by making a donation to Smile Train.
